One connection at a networking event turned into an afternoon for 80 Triangle agents.
DURHAM, NC – When we say we’re invested in the Triangle real estate community, we mean it — and on September 9th, we put it into action. TAG hosted The Road to Success Tour: Capital Connections at Topgolf Durham, an afternoon built for real estate agents and loan officers who want to stay ahead of the industry. We brought it together with our partners at SUCCESS Lending and the Marti Hampton Real Estate Team, one of the biggest names in North Carolina real estate. About 80 agents from all over the Triangle came out to learn and connect (and yes, to swing a few golf balls).
A Panel Worth Showing Up For
The heart of the afternoon was our industry panel and live Q&A. Bob and Nathan from TAG sat down with Marti Hampton and local lender James Gorrie to share real, on-the-ground insight from the lending, real estate, and appraisal sides of a transaction. A big topic of the day: the upcoming UAD 3.6 appraisal changes and what they mean for agents and their clients. It’s exactly the kind of thing that’s easier to understand when you can ask questions face-to-face — and that’s what this panel was all about.
How It Came Together: One Connection
Here’s the part we love most. This event grew out of a single relationship — a connection we made with a realtor from the Brunswick County Association of Realtors (BCAR). One conversation, one connection, and it turned into an afternoon that brought 80 agents together over food, networking, and real learning.
That’s the thing about community: you never know which handshake will turn into your next big opportunity. When you show up, stay connected, and invest in the people around you, those relationships have a way of coming back around.
Thank You
A huge thank-you to our partners at the Marti Hampton Real Estate Team, our fellow panelists, and every agent who joined us at Topgolf. We’re proud to help bring our Triangle real estate family together.
