TAG Legacy Program: A Smarter Path Forward for Seasoned Appraisers
(980) 340-4098
Why This Exists
You didn’t build your appraisal career overnight.
Years of long days, tight deadlines, and constant client demands helped you earn a solid reputation in your market.
As retirement gets closer, it’s natural to want fewer hours and less stress.
With Triangle Appraisal Group (TAG)’s Legacy Program, you can do just that without giving up your income or walking away from the work you still enjoy.
The TAG Legacy Program exists to give experienced appraisers a smarter, more thoughtful path forward.
One that reduces administrative burden, provides stability, and allows you to transition toward retirement at your own pace.
Who It's For
Triangle Appraisal Group’s Legacy Program is a great fit for you if you are/have:
- Fully licensed
- 15+ years of valuation experience
- Currently operating solo or 1-2 person shop
- Established local lender database
- Working 50+ hours a week
- Planning retirement in the next 3-5 years
“Coming from a one-man appraisal shop, what surprised me most was how effective TAG’s team structure really is. Delegating administrative tasks freed up my time, improved workflow, and made it possible to maintain a healthier work-life balance without sacrificing quality or turnaround times.”
Kelly Holland, Valuator, Triangle Appraisal Group
How It Works
All Legacy plans will be customized on an individual basis. Below is an example of a 3-year exit plan.
Year 1 – Partner Appraiser
- Remain fully licensed and active, with a more manageable workload.
- TAG takes over scheduling, client communication, and administration support.
- Maintain steady income while reducing admin stress and overhead.
Year 2 – Senior Advisor
- Perform fewer appraisals, focused on your preferences.
- Share your experience through mentorship, training, and quality review.
- Shift away from daily production to a more advisory role.
Year 3 – Legacy Consultant
- Fully step away from production while remaining available for insight as needed.
- TAG assumes responsibility for all ongoing work and client communication.
- Clients experience a smooth, professional transition with no disruption.
